Hello, there! I’m Gillie Girl, and I’m so glad to meet you! Girl is a part of my name because I’m still a little girl pup. The great wide world is a new and exciting place, and I have the energy to match it! I love to play with kids, and I get the zoomies like any pyr puppy. Sometimes, I’m having such a good time, I jump up a little bit, but all puppies do. My GPRA friends say teaching me the command: “down” through positive reinforcement will do the trick. Even though I’m a big white ball of fun, I can be a little shy at first when meeting new people. Don’t get your candy canes in a twist! I warm up quicker than a cup of hot chocolate on a winter’s night. In fact, my GPRA transporter said I was very loving and a snuggler! She even noticed how gently I take treats. See what a good Gillie Girl I am? My foster mama says I don’t seem to mind cats either, and I’m good in the car. Oh, and I like other doggies too! What more could you want? Take me home, and I promise to be your good-est Gillie girl!

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.

Ciao, my pyr friends! I’m Enzo, and my name reminds me of sunny Italy. I’m used to spending a lot of time in the rolling Tuscan hills, or the Georgia meadows, because I’m from a farm. I know Italians love to spend their time drinking espresso at the cafe or visiting ancient Roman monuments. I need to learn to walk on a leash, so I can do those things with you too! We can walk around the neighborhood and see the sights. Everyone at GPRA says I’m such a good, sweet boy, so learning to be house dog should be easy for us both. Can I come home with you? We can cuddle up and watch TV while the pizza is cooking. If that’s not amore, I don’t know what is!
