Want a puppy? I hope so because I’m a six-month-old, 41 lb. girl who really wants a person. That would make us a perfect match. Like most strays, I know very little about “before.” The agency that transferred me to GPRA says I came to them with some puncture wounds but I really don’t remember any pain so let’s just celebrate my healing and get started on all the great years of lap-sitting, treat-eating, family-guarding, and neighbor-meeting ahead of us. Actually, if you please email info@greatpyratlanta.com or click “Apply to Adopt” below, we can start right now. Or as soon as I wake up from one of my puppy naps.

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.

Most people know the word “Nova” means “new star” so think of me as a 6-month-old, 47 lb. girl and GPRA’s new star! My owner cannot take me when she deploys so I’m searching for a new home. You can tell from my pictures I’m a Pyrenees mix but there’s more to me than my gorgeous face. First, I’m a puppy and puppies are just awesome. Second, I’m good on the leash and respond to “sit”, “come” and “off”. I love all people, kids, cats, dogs, baths, and brushings. Oh, and I’m fine alone in the house for about three yours (puppy, remember? I’ll get better with the home alone thing). I am also really scared of the vacuum cleaner and my owner hasn’t really had time to finish house training me, but I do cry at the door when I need to go (most of the time). She didn’t crate train me or stop my counter surfing but again, I’m only six months old so lots of time to learn. Do you have time to help? If yes, please email info@greatpyratlanta.com or click “Apply to Adopt” below.

Hello, hello, hello!  I am Bubby, a 6 mth old happy-go-lucky boy, and a hefty 50 lbs. I think I am going to be a big fella. I am super sweet and love people of all sizes. Especially if they want to run and play. I like to hang out with other furries too. Dogs or cats, they are all good for me. I know my house manners and when to let you know that I need to go out. I am discovering that sofas are super awesome…especially when sitting next to someone to cuddle with. If you would like a super lovey sofa snuggler like me, please let GPRA know at info@greatpyratlanta.com.
