Hi everyone, I’m Emma, a 5 yr old petite girl at only 77 lbs so that makes me a ‘Pocket Pyr’. While many people like the big pups, I am told there are some people who really prefer the slightly smaller version of a Great Pyrenees. I ride in the car really well, I’m well behaved and good on leash and very friendly. I am hoping to get my forever home soon so that I can enjoy all the upcoming Holiday activities I keep hearing people talk about. I am very thankful for the rescue group to help me get all cleaned up and pretty again. I promise I will be your most loyal friend. Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.

Hello, my name is Bella T.  I am around 5 years old and a little on the smaller side at 74 lbs.  I am a shy girl at first when you meet me however, once I warm up to you, we will be best of friends.  I have been in a home but I was not socially accepted into the family so I spent a lot of time on my own.  This new group I joined is helping me build my confidence and teaching me how to make new friends.  I know in a very short time, I will be the best PYR thanks to my great foster family.  I already have good house manners and I am pretty laid back too.  If you are interested in finding out more about me, contact GPRA today at info@greatpyratlanta.com.

Hi, my name is Little Bit! I am around 5 years old and looking for my forever home. I have been with a friend, Snowflake, for the past few years guarding livestock and have really enjoyed chasing the horses around and my owners never understood how much fun that was. They were really worried about us getting hurt so they wanted to find us a better home. I am a very friendly goofball and love spending time with my humans. I am adjusting to my new life here in Georgia and loving this cooler weather. I have meet some incredible doggy friends and human friends that have spent some time with me redefining my leash manners and they say that I have improved so much. If you are interested in adding me to your family, contact GPRA today at info@greatpyratlanta.com.
