Hi, Y’all! I’m Dolly Parton, and I’m down right pleased to meet you! Like my namesake, my personality is as sweet as apple pie. My foster mama says I’m so good with people because I love everybody. Dolly Parton, the singer, is known for having a big heart, and I do too! You can see in all my smiley pictures that I’m always happy to be around my foster family. I’ve also heard that Dolly has sung plenty of duets with all kinds of people. Well, when I’m not cuddling my humans, I love to hang out with other dogs. We don’t sing, but we sure do have a fun time playing and snuggling! Dolly Parton is one smart lady who can manage a theme park, her singing career, and a lot of charities. I think I’d make her proud because I’m one smart pyr pup who is eager to learn everything. Foster Mama was just telling me that I’m plumb wonderful on the leash! While I’ve already mastered leash-walking, I’m still working on my potty-training, but Foster Mom says as long as I get to go outside a lot, I’m doing a great job of pottying in the yard! Celebrity Dolly Parton is all the way grown up, but I still have plenty of growing and learning to do. As a baby pup, I’ll need to continue my potty-training, my leash-training, and basic command training all through positive reinforcement. Positive reinforcement means training with praise and treats because those are what us pyrs respond to best. If you’re looking to help raise this shining star puppy into a starlet pyr lady, then consider adopting me today!

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.

Queen Bee, Luna Bee, here! It’s a pleasure to make your acquaintance! Foster Mama says my personality is as regal as royal jelly because I’m so calm and loving. I’m a little shy too, but us queen bees have to be careful! Don’t worry, though, as soon as I get to know you, I’m as sweet as nectar. Soon enough, I’ll be nestling in close with you on the couch. Lately, my favorite way to spend an afternoon is hanging out in the backyard. I’m like a bee flying through the honeycomb! There are a lot of pictures of my sister and me playing together, so I know I’ll be good with other dogs. We’re as close as two bees on a flower! Another quality I have that shines through like beeswax is how well I do during grooming and vet visits. After all, Queen Bees always need to carry themselves well! Now, though, I’m ready to share my crown with my new loving family. Please take me home today and help me grow into the self-assured pyr I’m meant to bee!

Buzz! Buzz! It’s Lucy Bee, and I’m just buzzing with excitement to meet you! Foster Mom says I’m a bright-eyed and bushy-tailed young pup who just loves to play in the backyard. I run from one end to the other like a bee going from flower to flower. You’ll see some pics of me playing with my sister too. We have as much fun together as two bees in a hive, so I know I’ll be good with other dogs! Foster Mom also tells me that I’ve got a personality as sweet as honey. Even though I’m shy at first, I do warm up, and I think I’ll be quite the cuddlebug soon. Another part of my pyr-sonality is that I’m calm. Sometimes, it’s nice to lie down and rest. It’s hard work being a busy bee all the time! While bees fly from place to place, the rest of us use cars, and I am a great car rider. I think it’s because I’m excited to go to my new home. I’m ready to be swarmed by a loving family who can’t wait to help me bee-come the confident pyr I’m meant to be!
