Hey there, Mickey here. I am a really sweet fella weighing about 90 lbs. I am guessing that I am around 3 years old. I had a loving family once and then boom, they were gone. I don’t know what happened. One day they were there and then the next day they were gone. The wonderful neighbors stepped in and got me and told me all about GPRA. They told me I could have my own place to call my fur-ever home. I am very friendly and I love people, especially children that will play with me. Riding in that car was awesome and I got to meet some new dog friends and even a cat. I would give my last milk bone to go home with you! Just contact GPRA at info@greatpyratlanta.com and let them know that I am the one for you!

Hi everyone! My name is Gunner. I am a precious 3 year old boy who is around 80 lbs. This is the ideal weight for me as you can see, I only have 3 legs. It does not slow me down nor make me less of a Pyr. I was lucky once before, when I became a GPRA Alumni and they helped me when I needed my leg fixed. They took me in, found the best Ortho Vet and had to quickly amputate my leg to save my life. I found a wonderful family that took me in and cared for me and taught me what it is like to be loved and feel whole again. However, life has changed for us all and I am back at GPRA to find my forever family. I am good with other dogs and like to stay active by going to doggie parks to play. If you have hard surface floors, don’t worry, I have mastered tile and wood floors and I can even climb stairs. Please consider me even it I don’t have all my legs. I promise you that this is not a handicap for me at all. For more information about me, contact GPRA today at info@greatpyratlanta.com

Hello, Hello, Hello! I am the lovely lady Margot, a wonderful 3 year old girl that weighs 75 lbs. I am an incredible sweet and loving girl who takes being a Pyr very seriously. I am very well behaved in the house but really prefer to spend as much time as I can outside in the yard. I love getting attention by my family and do well with other dogs, those furry little cats and I LOVE kids. I enjoy laying around watching and listening to the bird fly by and just walking the local park and getting my exercise. So, if you have a nice fenced yard, like to play and cuddle, I’m the girl for you!  If you are interested in finding out more about me, contact GPRA today at info@greatpyratlanta.com

Hey, My name is Fred.  I am around 3 years old and new to GPRA.  I was saved by a wonderful gentleman earlier this year from the shelter.  We instantly bonded and started to have a great life together.  I showed him how great my house manners were and how great I am even for taking walks on a leash.  I have met a lot of other dogs and cats in the past few months and they are all my friends.  My human had plans to retire later this year and we were going to have so much fun together.  However, this plan has changed and he can no longer promise me this future.  But what was promised to me was a great family that could spend the time with me and who wanted to show me a great future.   I will forever be grateful for him and giving me my second chance at life.  My lucky number is three so take the chance on me and I promise you, I will be forever your loyal companion.  For more information about me, contact GPRA today at info@greatpyratlanta.com

Hi, My name is Mango!  I am a smaller pyr gal who is very sweet but can also be shy. Currently, I am only at 70 lbs, and around 3 yrs. old.   I spent some time on my own and was not able to care for myself properly so I need some help and TLC to get back to a good weight and regular brushes to maintain my beautiful white coat.  I have spent some time in a home where I was showered with lots of love.  Unfortunately, I was not getting along with a fur sibling and it was too much for the family.  I have been taught house manners and I am learning to come out of my shell.  I really hope that I can find the right family that will coach me on life lessons.  I might be small in statue but I am big in personality and have a lot of love to give.  I am a rare gem and really believe that I can be that perfect fit for your family.  Please contact GPRA today at info@greatpyratlanta.com to find out how to meet me.

BOO!  Did I scare you?  I sure hope not!  My name is Boo.  I am a big loveable teddy bear.  I am around 3 years old and just hoping that my forever family comes searching for me.  I have been with GPRA since January 2017 and have been waiting for the right one.  My foster family adores me and has invested the time and money to get me professionally trained.  The first two years of my life, I had no training, no socialization and I was a little on the wild size.  I have redefined my manners and will be a great addition to your family.  Due to my size and that I still have a little puppy in me, I will do best in a home where I have a dog similar in size and if kids are there, they might need to be bigger and weight more than me.  I do have energy so I will need an active family that can keep up and enjoys the outdoors.  I have been patiently waiting for my forever family.  It is my time now!  Would you consider me?  I promise to be loyal and a great companion to you.  Contact GPRA today for more information at info@greatpyratlanta.com

Hi, I’m Piper, a lovely 3 year old girl. I am shy when I first meet others. I am close to 60 lbs. I would do better in a home where there are no small kids under 10 years old. I have been in a wonderful home and it is hard for my mommy to do this, however, times have changed, at no fault of mine, and she feels that I need a home where I can have the attention that I deserve. As I get more settled into my new environment, I will be able to share more me. Please stay tuned and if you are interested in meeting me, please contact GPRA today.
