Birch Joy
Hi-ya! I’m Birch Joy, and I’m a bright, young boy who is bursting with love! My foster mama describes me as fun and playful. I like to bounce around the yard! But, she also says I’m sweet and docile, so you can hold me close like a teddy bear when we snuggle. I feel a sense of belonging with my human family, yet I also get a boost of bliss by hanging out with my fuzzy brethren. Dogs AND cats are both my best buds! Foster Mama says to be my best self and to keep my confidence blooming, I could really use a home with a doggy brother or sister. I’m still a baby boy at heart, so I need lots of exercise and time to explore too. There’s a big world out there, and being curious by nature, I’m eager to see it all! If you’re looking for a handsome goofball with a big-heart, then come on over and take me home with you!

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
