Hi, y’all! I’m Daisy Green, and I’m here just in time for spring! Foster Mama says that I’m a spring chicken because I’m very active and playful, so I’d love a yard to play in. The backyard is a great place to be, and because I like to keep things fresh as a daisy, I make sure to potty outside. Another reason I’ll put a spring in your step is that I am good with kids and other dogs. You’ll see my sister, Dolly, and I playing in some of the pictures! Foster Mom also says I’m the more submissive of the two of us. Loving and social butterfly are the words that spring to mind when my foster family thinks about me. When I’m not hanging with my human and fuzzy siblings, I love to play with my toys! I know everyone is spring cleaning, but please leave my toys out. We can keep them in a little basket just for me. I’m a bright-eyed and bushy-tailed pyr pup, so I’ll need to continue my leash and potty training with positive reinforcement, please. The good news is that my intelligence is in full bloom, so I’ll learn quick. Spring has sprung, and so have I! Please consider adopting me and helping me blossom into the best pyr I can be!

Hi, Hi, Hi! My name is Zola, and I am so excited to introduce myself to you! Yes, I am another pup with the Stryker family. Our mom is a Great Pyrenees, and Dad is an Anatolian Shepherd. So, I am an Anatolian Pyrenees. Can you believe that someone surrendered my littermates and me to a shelter?

My foster parents are Pyr-tastic and are taking care of both Mira and me. Here are a few things they shared with GPRA about me:
“Zola is a baby. She will curl up against/inside your legs or in your arms and fall asleep.” (What can I say? I love to cuddle with my favorite humans!)
“Zola seems like she will be on the smaller side as she has smaller
paws. She has started to put on more weight.”
“Zola is super playful and doesn’t back down at all. Zola will go until she wins the war of attrition. After that, she’s fine with being on her back and putting her jiu-jitsu to good use. She loves crinkly toys and loves it when we get down on all fours and slap the ground for playtime.” (I might be cute, but I’m a warrior in the making! I will love it if you train with me!!)
“So far, Zola is learning the housetraining thing relatively quickly.” (Yes, I’m trying to be a good puppy!)
“Zola is a people pleaser and still in the early stages of expressing some anxiety from being separated from her littermates. After a few minutes, though, she gives up her Celine Dion impression and goes to sleep while cuddling with Mira (her sister). Paired with her love for humans, she will benefit from having another dog as she expresses some anxiety when separated from us.” (Yes, I am very much missing my other littermates! Can you blame a pup for a bit of drama? With time and some confidence building, I will learn to be a big, independent girl)

Hiya, I am Mira. I am another pup with the Stryker family. Our mom is a Great Pyrenees, and Dad is an Anatolian Shepherd. So, I am an Anatolian Pyrenees.

My foster parents provided GPRA with lots and lots of information about Zola and me. Here’s what they said about me:
“Mira is super curious, I mean suuuper curious! She will try to fit her body into almost anything, to get almost anywhere!”
“Mira is 100% gas pedal at all times until she hits a wall. Then she will find a corner or a dark spot and knock out.” (Yep, play hard and sleep hard. This is my life, and I love it!)
“Mira will need a consistent hand with training as she is very, very adamant about having her way. Here are examples.
1) Mira will go right back to the thing you told her not to chew. 2) While in the exercise pen, she makes several attempts to escape. 3) Mira will flop like a fish when on a leash sometimes and moan because she doesn’t want to do what I am asking her to do.” (I am a fun handful of mischief, and I certainly keep my foster parents busy.)
“The best part about Mira is that she is a total kisser. You cannot stop this girl from kissing you. When it comes to picture time, there is no way to take a close-up of Mira while she is awake because she swoops in for a kiss.”
“The second best part about Mira is that she is already giving her Pyr paw.”
“The third funniest/best part about Mira is that she has one dewclaw on her hind leg.”
I only have one more thing to share with you, and that is I want to thank my foster parents for loving my sister and me and putting up with all of our/(my) mischievous behavior!
Now, come over here so that I can kiss your face.

Full of Pyr-fun, Mira ❤

Hi there! Luca is my name.
I am the only male pup of the Stryker family, which makes me extra special. Our mom is a Great Pyrenees, and Dad is an Anatolian Pyrenees. So, I am an Anatolian Shepherd.
My foster family says that I am an absolutely wonderful puppy! (Yep, that’s me!)
Here are a few other things my loving foster parents said about me.
“Luca is gentle and full of personality. He loves people and other animals.”
“Luca is comfortable with being picked up and having his feet and mouth touched.” (I like it a lot when my humans love on me. I especially love the belly rubs.)
“We are working on potty training.” (Yep, it is housetraining time, and I am working really hard to be a perfect puppy!)
“We only use a crate for Luca at night, and it’s right next to our bed. We are so happy that Luca is sleeping through the night.” (I love being with my humans at night, too!)
“Luca is learning what “no” means and loves chewing on toys and chasing them around.” (Yep, I am all puppy. Eat, play, get love from my humans, sleep… repeat!)
“Luca is a 100% sweet, adorable, loving, and gorgeous puppy!” (Aww, thank you. I am going to give you lots of kisses for those sweet comments!)

Your Pyr-loving boy, Luca ❤

Is it my turn now? Ok, here goes. My name is Shea. I’m also a Stryker pup. Our mom is a Great Pyrenees, and Dad is an Anatolian Shepherd. So, I am an Anatolian Pyrenees. Yep, there are seven of us. Picking just one will not be an easy task because we are super sweet and unique in our own way. Good luck!

My Pyr-sensational foster parents are taking care of Chula and me. Here are a few things they have learned about both of us.
“Shea is super sweet and playful and full of energy!” (Playing with my sister is the best!)
“Shea is slightly smaller with no dewclaws.”
“Shea is very independent and out-going. She greets new people immediately and explores everything.” (There is a big world out there to explore, and I’m ready for it!)
“Shea is ‘top’ puppy and will boss her sister when eating.” (With some guidance, I will learn manners with my fur-family members.)
“Both puppies love treats and think every crinkly bag means it is treat time.”
“Both puppies are not rough and tumble players. Instead, they enjoy calmer playtime.”

Pyr-ready for the good life, Shea ❤

Top of the morning to you! I am the sweetheart Ana.

Yes, I am also a member of the Stryker puppy family. Our mom is a Great Pyrenees, and Dad is an Anatolian Shepherd. So, I am an Anatolian Pyrenees.

My foster parents are taking care of Cardi and me, and we are very thankful to them for giving us a great start. Here’s what they told GPRA about me:
“Ana loves attention from humans and loves playing with her sister, Cardi.”
“Ana and Cardi act like they are starving all the time because they eat faster than any puppies we have ever fostered.” (Yep, I am a growing girl. When you grow up with seven littermates, you learn to eat fast.)
“Ana and Cardi sleep together. She does not like being left alone and always prefers to be with her humans or with her sister.” (It’s so much better to have company all the time.)
“Ana is more submissive of the two puppies and is more of a snuggler.”
“Both puppies are fast learners and very easy-going.” (If you are asking if puppies can be easy-going, the answer is yes. It is the Pyr in me.)
Your Pyr-sweet girl, Ana ❤

Hi there, humans! I am Chula! I am yet another Stryker pup. Our mom is a Great Pyrenees, and Dad is an Anatolian Shepherd. So, I am an Anatolian Pyrenees. I am currently housing with my sister Shea!

My Pyr-tastic foster parents have a lot to say about little me:
“Chula is more cautious and takes a little longer to warm up to everyone, but now that she’s comfortable, she is a big snuggler. She will eventually abandon your lap but curl up at your feet.” (I love cuddling up to my humans after a long day!)

“She has the “Pyr paw” down already, which is adorable but can be tough with those tiny short puppy claws. She has double dewclaws. She doesn’t venture out immediately to greet new people entering the room.” (Although I am a little shy, I will be sure to greet you by offering you my Pry paw!)

“Chula is learning how to give some notice that she has to go outside.” (I’m working hard at figuring out all of this potty outside business!)

“They like to sleep in the crate with the door open but do NOT like being shut in or left alone at night.” (I do not like being confined to tiny spaces. Lots of breathing room will make me happy!)

“Both pups are great with other dogs. Our male Pyr is not interested in playing, and the pups are smart enough just to leave him alone. They like treats and are very interested in every crinkly bag.” (Crinkly bags will always get this girl’s attention! In the future, treats will help teach me to “sit,” “come,” and “stay”!)

Hi! My name is Sunny Timber! I’m only three months old and was returned to GPRA after my owner realized that a puppy is a big responsibility. Sadly, this is one of many reasons why so many dogs are in shelters. Puppies are a lifetime commitment. Without rescue groups like GPRA, I’d be in a shelter right now.

My mama is a GPRA rescue, full Great Pyrenees, and dad is a German Shepherd (I was DNA tested)! So, this means that I am Germanees, the offspring of a German Shepherd and a Great Pyrenees.

To help me grow up to be the very best Germanees, here is a short list of things I will need that includes: your commitment to me until we have to say goodbye many years from now, annual trips to the vet to keep me healthy, regular grooming, as well as lots of food, lots of love, lots of patience, lots of training, lots of consistency, lots of exercise, and lots of time with my favorite humans.

Oh, one more thing, I am described as a typical puppy – sweet, trusting, and easy-going (that’s the Pyr in me). You will be happy to know that I am off to a good start with learning how to walk on a leash and house training.

Are you ready to call me your own?
Your growing up fast boy, Sunny Timber
