Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.

Hello? Is it OK to talk? I’m Etta, a 12-week old little girl staying with GPRA until I find a furever family. Right now my sister Frieda and I are living with a very nice foster, getting used to being inside, with people, and without our mom, Pita, for the first time. GPRA saved her too, so I hope she finds a really special, loving family and maybe we can all three trade emails and pictures as we grow up. And speaking of growing up, I’m hoping for people who know puppies sometimes make mistakes on their way to being a good dog. If that’s you, or a maybe a friend of yours, please email info@greatpyratlanta.com or click the “Apply to Adopt” button below.

Hi maybe new family, I’m Frieda, a 12-week old, 20 lb., shy girl new to living inside, being with people and GPRA for that matter. I’m glad my sister Etta and I are staying with the same kind foster because we just said goodbye to our mom. Yeah, it’s a little sad but we’re happy because she’s looking for a GPRA family, too. Do you want to help me learn all that stuff I see big dogs doing, like walking at the end of a big, long string, sitting before they get treats, standing at a door before they go potty, and protecting their people? If you’re thinking about it, please email info@greatpyratlanta.com or click the “Apply to Adopt” button below.
