My Story

Hi, I’m Hope—and just like my name, I’m full of it! I believe the best days are still ahead of me, and I’m hoping one of them includes meeting you. I came in with my brother Harvey, and while we’d make a great team together, I’d also do just fine in a home with another friendly, well-balanced pup—or even solo with a human who’s ready for a loyal companion.

Right now, I’m in boarding (not exactly cozy), and I’m really looking forward to finding a soft bed, warm snuggles, and a whole lot of love—either in a foster or forever home. I may be a little skinny, but don’t let that fool you. I’ve got a big heart, a great appetite, and a spirit that just won’t quit!

I’m housebroken, walk great on a leash, and I love people. I seek out affection from everyone—strangers, staff, you name it—and I’m always happy to be pet from head to tail. Giving me medicine? No problem! I’ve been super easy when it comes to ear and oral meds.

I get along well with other dogs, handle busy environments and loud noises like a pro, and I’ve got just the right amount of bark—enough to let you know I’m around, but not too much. We’re not sure how I feel about cats yet, but I’m always open to new experiences!

If you’re looking for a sweet, loving girl who’s ready to bring joy into your life, look no further—Hope is here. Let’s start our next chapter together!

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.

My Story

Hi there, I’m Harvey! You could say I’m a glass-half-full kind of pup—friendly, fun, and always ready to love. I came in with my sister Hope, and while we’d make a great duo, I’d also be perfectly happy in a home with another friendly, well-rounded dog—or even as your one-and-only if you’re ready for a loyal sidekick!

I’m currently in boarding (not my favorite), and I’d really love a warm home to stretch out in—whether that’s foster or forever. I’m a skinny guy now, but I’ve got a big heart and an even bigger personality. I LOVE people and seek out attention like it’s my job. Whether it’s clinic staff or strangers walking by, I greet everyone with my tail wagging and a big doggy smile.

I walk well on a leash, I’m housebroken (I know where to do my business!), and I’ve been super easy when it comes to meds—ears, mouth, you name it.

I’ve done great around other dog and handle noisy places, cars, and traffic like a champ. We’re not sure how I’d do with cats, but I’m always up for new adventures.

If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate, happy-go-lucky pup who just wants to be loved and part of a family, that’s me—Harvey! Let’s meet soon, okay?

Hi, All! I’m Folly, and it’s fantastic to meet you! You’ll feel good about adopting me because I’m housetrained. Another fabulous trait of mine is that I can be left home alone without being crated, and I don’t destroy anything. I’m such a good pyr girlie! The only faux pas I make in the house is that I like to eat cat food, but if you hide it away somewhere I can’t reach, then we’re golden. Speaking of kitty cats, they are my friends. We get along famously! It’s probably because I’m curious like a cat. The whole world is interesting to me. I also get along well with other dogs both large and small. My foster mama says I’m an all-around friendly pyr! Yet another favorable part of my personality is that I’m a quick learner. I’ve already learned how to “sit” before eating, and when my foster mama says, “Come,” I follow her inside. It’s fortuitous that I’m food-motivated because that makes training a lot easier! I’m good at listening to my foster mom which means I’m also flawless on the leash. Please consider taking me home! I’m a fluffy, fun-loving young pyr lady who can’t wait to become a part of your family!
