Ava Arcadia
Hello, Pyr Friends! Ava Arcadia’s the name! Did you know Arcadia was supposed to be a place of paradise in Ancient Greece? Being inside is my version of paradise, but I also like yard time and going on walks. My foster mom would say I’m pretty perfect too because I get along with everyone. I love other dogs, my humans, especially children, and I don’t even mind cats. Some people think of paradise as swaying palm trees and clear blue skies; I just want to cuddle with my family and have a doggy companion to keep me company. My foster brother is my mentor, and he’s pyr-fect too because he’s teaching me how to respect boundaries and how to be in the house. I know Ancient Greeks were known for their learning, and I’m living up to my last name! I’ve learned the command sit, I’m potty-trained, and I walk well on the leash. If you’re looking for a lovable companion to add to your doggy and human family, I’m the pup for you!
Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta
Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
