Aloha! Charmingly named after a lively Disney character, my name is Lilo. Did you know that Lilo means “generous one?” Yes, I have a generous Pyr-heart!
I am wishing for an exceptional and loving home and owner. You see, I am almost completely deaf. While I still have a little hearing, it is fading. But, do not worry because I understand many things my humans communicate to me. Here is what GPRA knows about me.
“Lilo will do best in a home where she can bond with her humans. She will need an owner or family with kids that are home all/most of the time. Lilo struggles with separation anxiety, and we are helping her feel more secure.” (Yes, life has been hard on me. I am thankful to have understanding and kind humans who support me. In return, I will be your constant and faithful companion.)
“Lilo needs another dog for companionship. She loves to run and is very athletic and will need a yard, but she likes sleeping a lot, too.” (What can I say, I like quiet time, too, which is prime time for cuddles.)
Your Pyrly loving girl, Lilo
Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta
Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
