Hi! My name is Sadie Summer, and I am ready to live out my golden years with a loving owner. GPRA tells me that I will not live tied up outside anymore.
So, is it true that I may get my very own comfy dog bed or couch? Couches are my favorite thing, but an equally comfortable dog bed might make me just as happy! Ignore my shaved haircut because it is not my best look. My coat is growing in, and I cannot wait to be as white and fluffy as GPRA’s other Pyrs! If you wonder why I am with GPRA, the simple answer is that my family closed the farm, moved to the suburbs, and I was left behind. Although I am shy, I will surely open up my Pyr heart with kind-hearted humans.
Here is what my foster family says about me.
“Sadie is timid and quiet, and she is trusting us more each day. Her safe place is the couch. She loves her couch!” (My Pyr heart is starting to trust my foster parents. Would you believe they gave me my very own couch?)
“Sadie walks great on a leash. However, she still gets a bit frightened of new noises or activities. While taking Sadie for walks through town, she will cower a bit when people come up, but she will stand and let them pet her.” (I’m trying to be a brave girl.)
“Although it took a while for Sadie not to flinch every time we touched her, Sadie loves petting.”
“Sadie will do best in a quiet house and neighborhood without too much traffic or activity.” (Yep, I enjoy quiet and relaxed living, do you?)
“Sadie will need a patient and loving owner who will help build her trust.”
Did you know that GPRA knows of Pyrs that live into their late teenage years? Well, I plan to be one of those Pyrs, so will you open your home and heart to me?
Pyr-ready for a life of comfort and love, Sadie Summer
