Sunny
Hi! My name is Sunny Timber! I’m only three months old and was returned to GPRA after my owner realized that a puppy is a big responsibility. Sadly, this is one of many reasons why so many dogs are in shelters. Puppies are a lifetime commitment. Without rescue groups like GPRA, I’d be in a shelter right now.
My mama is a GPRA rescue, full Great Pyrenees, and dad is a German Shepherd (I was DNA tested)! So, this means that I am Germanees, the offspring of a German Shepherd and a Great Pyrenees.
To help me grow up to be the very best Germanees, here is a short list of things I will need that includes: your commitment to me until we have to say goodbye many years from now, annual trips to the vet to keep me healthy, regular grooming, as well as lots of food, lots of love, lots of patience, lots of training, lots of consistency, lots of exercise, and lots of time with my favorite humans.
Oh, one more thing, I am described as a typical puppy – sweet, trusting, and easy-going (that’s the Pyr in me). You will be happy to know that I am off to a good start with learning how to walk on a leash and house training.
Are you ready to call me your own?
Your growing up fast boy, Sunny Timber

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta
Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
