Buster
Hi there, I’m Buster Bentley. I guess it’s time for me to go in search of a new family. I’m a loving boy that will always greet you with a wagging tail and lots of love.
GPRA recommends an experienced Pyr owner who also has another mature Pyr or large breed female to support and teach me. You see, I have been missing my sister Pyr. She was my best friend and made every day better. Being alone is not something I like doing, so a home where my humans are around a lot is highly desirable. Also, please never put me in a crate as I intensely dislike confinement. A fenced-in and secure backyard will be ideal for me.
Just remember that I am only two years old, which means I’m a teenager and still figuring things out. I will need additional training, patience, and a loving human who will continue to work with me on my separation anxieties. Now, I’ll brag a bit about the commands that I have learned that include: “sit,” “come,” and “down.” I’m also great with the smaller humans you call children.
While I am on the right path to true happiness, I still need my humans’ help.
Your still learning and big loving boy, Buster Bentley

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta
Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
