Hi, I am Glenda. GPRA also saved me from the Virginia hoarding case. Would you believe that quiet, scared, and shy me is transforming into a confident, happy, and playful Pyr? Yep, I sure am!
GPRA’s team of wonderful volunteers has kept busy helping me learn how to walk on a leash. They are building my trust with lots of affection and belly rubs. Can I have more of that, please?
Like Diego, also up for adoption, I will only need time and a dedicated and loving owner who is willing to teach me everything I need to know.
My foster mom gives me an A ++ for being a cutie pie. She also says that I am smart, funny, and quite the stunner! (Thank you!)
Another Pyr told me that my very own home is out there and to keep wishing for the very best one. So, I will do this until my fur-ever humans come to get me.
Pyrly hopeful, Glenda

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta
Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
