Thor
Thor here, again, to give you an update on how I am doing with my foster family. My foster mom has given GPRA a five-star report on me. Here are a few glowing comments.
Thor is “shy, gentle, outgoing, a protector, independent, a cuddler, talker, curious, and smart.” (Yep, this is me!)
“If someone wants calm, Thor is extremely mellow.”
“Thor loves to be loved.” (I am a sweet boy!)
“Thor did not go to any obedience training. We are introducing Thor to commands such as sit, stay, down, and come.” (I am a fast learner.)
“Thor was happy to meet our cat. Thor wags his tail and is glad to have another furball in the house.”
“Thor loves my dog walker and others, so he is good with other people.” (Of course, I love people, I am a Pyr!)
“Thor respects fences. He likes to be outside.” (Yes, I love just being outside watching the day pass by.)
“Thor is fine to leave alone in the house. Upon my return, I find him curled up sleeping in the same spot.” (I am dozing but still keeping track of everything.)
“Thor is a beautiful, quintessential Great Pyrenees.” (Thank you!)
So, that’s my report. I am so thankful to GPRA and my foster family for helping me. Are you ready to adopt me? Your sweet, almighty, and loving Thor

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta
Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
