Keiko
Hello… I am the lovely, demure, and sweet Keiko. Living on my own for quite a while, I was a stray that was finally caught and taken in by GPRA. Since my ‘gotcha day,’ life has never been so good. My foster family feeds me, pets me, invites me on the couch, and helps bring out my Pyr confidence. Yesterday, I barked at the UPS guy, and my foster mom said, “good girl.” Life is good, and I cannot wait to be with a family who will love me forever, give me a roof over my head and play with me in the backyard.

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
