The first 18 months of my life have been a bit hard because I was tied outside a lot. During that time, other dogs attacked me. As you can imagine, that was really hard on me, and I am anxious about new situations. Trusting others will take time, and GPRA volunteers are already helping me. When I first met them, they gave me chicken treats and showed me lots of affection. WOW, that is really great stuff, and I definitely want more of that kind of life!
Basically, I am a really good boy that needs time to learn how to be an inside dog, patience to teach me dog manners, and lots of love and hugs to build my trust. In return, I will be your faithful companion and loyal guardian.
Looking for brighter days and a family that will love me forever.

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
