Since my name matches a country rock star, let’s pretend I can sing and play guitar. I don’t know anything about my past except that I came from Alabama so maybe I do have some country in me! GPRA’s vet says I’m five years old, 84 lbs., and walk well on a leash. Humans say I’m super chill with other dogs, even one who tried to eat me and those sometimes quite annoying puppies. This story is so short, I guess I can add I rode well in the car for two of the three hours. After that, I got a little vocal letting my GPRA driver know it was my turn at the wheel. I tried to move up front and he just blocked me. Otherwise, Mr. K was a very nice guy, especially because he brought me you. Or hopefully. The ball’s in your court now—hey, wonder if I like tennis balls? Anyway, please email info@greatpyratlanta.com, click “Contact Us” or choose “Apply to Adopt” below so we can at least meet. It’s the only way to know if I’m the soul dog you’ve been waiting for all this time.

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
