Duck
I have no idea why a six-year-old, 100 lb. Pyr boy is named after a small bird that quacks and swims. Forget the pond, I love being outside, running, and playing. Grown people, kids, cats, and other dogs are all A+ in my book because I’m super social. You can take me on long walks or leave me home alone, my house manners are good. Since honesty is the best policy, especially when you’re choosing a life fur partner, I’m timid around men when we first meet. And more specifically, I cannot be around aggressive, screaming men. They terrify me. I wasn’t the one hurt, but that behavior brings back sad memories. Hopefully, if you please email info@greatpyratlanta.com, click “Contact Us” or choose “Apply to Adopt” below, we’ll start making fun and loving memories really soon.
Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta
Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
