June Ann
Choose me and if you keep my name, it’ll be summer all the time! I’m a year old and a mere 50 lbs., so far. Some very nice strangers have been feeding and petting me but now it’s time to find my forever family. They say I’m a good girl who showed up knowing how to use the doggy door and walk on a leash. Supposedly humans like it when dogs do these things the same way they like dogs to be playful, calm, and not afraid of things. I check those boxes, if they’re on your Pyr wish list. Oh, and on the outside chance you have goats, we should get along fine. I’m very happy the people I’m “visiting” never asked me to go in a crate, I don’t know if I’d like that or not. However, I do like chewing on bones and balls. There’s one thing I’m not sure of, and it could mean I’ll need an extra understanding family: my temporary family says maybe my ears don’t work. Personally, I disagree because it feels awesome when people scratch them! Still, since I respond more to stomping on the floor than sounds, could be I’m the perfect dog for a noisy household! If you please email info@greatpyratlanta.com, click “Contact Us” or choose “Apply to Adopt” below, the GPRA folks will probably need more. Besides, my paws are tired from typing all these words one letter at time. Heading out to play instead!
Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta
Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
