Lily
Does the mark on my head looks more like a paw or a flower? Either works since I’m obviously a dog and my name’s Lily, lol. I’m 2.5-years-old, 110 lbs., and get along fine with people and older kids. I’m pretty calm and laid back most of the time but confess I don’t care for toddlers crawling on me or pulling my fur. Baths are just fine, petting and belly rubs are even better! I like my Great Dane sibling, maybe because we both have “great” in our breed name or perhaps because we’re the same size? Bigger animals are preferable as I don’t get along so well with smaller dogs, bunnies, cats, or chicks. By the way, I know where you humans keep the good food so might want to clear the kitchen counters while we work on some house manners. I guess I’ll end this little introduction with two last comments: I’d like to live far away from gunshots (those are very scary sounds!) and I promise to protect you when someone approaches our fence. I mean, Pyrs are protectors and I’m a proud Pyr. Also, a loving one so if you have some time to meet me, please email info@greatpyratlanta.com, click “Contact Us”, or choose “Apply to Adopt” below.
Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta
Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
