Honey
You know, my name suits me. I’m a sweet, likable dog with just a couple of sticky personality traits easily managed with a dog-savvy owner. First, the simple stuff: I’m 1.5-years-old, only 65 lbs., and love being pet. I’m good with young children, even the toddlers hanging on me or babies grabbing my coat. I have a lot of energy to use up on walks (good leash manners!) or running around the yard with people and other dogs. Like my littermates, I’m at GPRA because our parents are moving to a new country and we’re not allowed on the plane. I wasn’t house or crate trained either so thanks in advance for your patience teaching me some inside dog manners. Being the runt of my litter in an outside pack created some food guarding issues, which by the way, seems kind of human to me. Seriously, people refuse to share their food with me, but they still have friends and homes and families. Maybe I can be part of your family? Meet your friends? Play with their dogs? Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta
Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
