Emmy
Here I am, both sides of the Pyrenees coin, so to speak. I’m a 6-year-old, 65 lb. energetic girl who, according to one of my previous owners, is allergic to beef. For what it’s worth, I’m much more “allergic” to not having a family. Let’s talk about why I could be your Pyr…I’m house and crate trained, affectionate, loving, like cats, and good with kids. My vocabulary includes basic commands, which means I’m trainable. This is important because I’m counting on my new family to socialize me, so I’m less reactive to other dogs or strangers on our walks. I’m just protecting my human but apparently there is a right and less right way to do that. Having a place to exercise away all my energy might help. Actually, exercise is supposedly good for people, too so if you please email info@greatpyratlanta.com, click “Contact Us” or choose “Apply to Adopt” below, we can get moving together!
Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta
Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
