I’m so ready to be inside! Living in the south will be fine, as long as this 3-year-old, 80 lb. boy is with a family that has lots of time for me, endless hugs, and plenty of air conditioning. My first mom is a nurse who understandable gave all her at-home time to my very young human. I miss them and I’m lucky they cared enough to help me find new people to take me on car rides and play with me. I love running around with other dogs, too. Also, I’m quite treat motivated, just in case you want to teach me some new dog tricks. Don’t let my barking at strangers fool you, I’m truly very friendly. Well, unless you’re combing my tail. Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
