I don’t know what a senior living community is but apparently this 5-year-old, 100 lb. boy can’t move into one with my elderly parents. They’re upset about kissing me goodbye, but they have to go and I’m relieved we’ll both have safe new homes.  Hopefully mine will have a fence since I enjoy being outside but tend to wander without a barrier. If you’re looking for a super loving, calm, nothing-bothers-him dog who also likes humans of all ages and sizes, choose me. We can go on car rides together during which I’ll happily share my food with you, if you want it, since I’ve never shown any food aggression. Cats are kinda new to me and so far, a great source of exercise. They always outrun and out jump me, but the chase is still fun. Unless it’s storming. The only things I do during a storm are hide under a bed and whimper. Yes, I know lots of dogs feel that way but it’s still scary so maybe my new family will know how to help be feel less afraid. If you have some ideas, or just want to meet me, please email info@greatpyratlanta.com, click “Contact Us” or choose “Apply to Adopt” below.

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
