Hunker down Georgia fans and choose me for your all-star family! Actually, this 3-year-old, 100 lb. boy will bark for any team as long as I’m loved and getting lots of attention. I’m one of five dogs right now and have to confess, REALLY thankful my owners were selfless enough to trust GPRA to help me find a new home. If you’re curious, I’m laid back, and fine being home alone in the house. Car rides, walks, and kids are also on my “good things” list; swimming and those crate things are not. Cats are neutral since I haven’t met any. Other dogs tell me some humans don’t like paws-on-the-shoulder hugs so will you teach me a proper Pyr-to-Person greeting? Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
