Hi! I’m Charlie! From shelter dog to rescue Pyr, wow it feels good saying that out loud. I’ve heard I’m a 2-year-old, 68 lb. boy but otherwise my past is a mystery. But, happy to share a few bits and pieces… First, I love people. Second, I love dogs. Third, I like cats. Fourth, I’m fine being alone as long as there’s another dog with me so I’m not alone. Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
