Tundra
Hi, I’m Tundra, a 7 yr old, 108 lb boy who just rolled in to GPRA! I hear the humans say that I am very sweet and submissive. I know all kinds of great manners for the house and I definitely do not like those vacuum cleaner things. Sheesh, they are scary. I’m also know what to do when a human says “sit”, “stay”, or “down” and I don’t guard my food. It’s OK if you have to reach in and move my bowl, I don’t get mad. I love a good comfy sofa and love chilling with my people. I like cats and dogs that are mellow, like I am. I came to GPRA because the other dogs in the house liked to be the boss and they were picking on me. I didn’t like to fight back so I just barked at them…a lot. That wasn’t working out so well in the neighborhood so they thought I might find a family where I’d be a super happy guy. I’ll ask my GPRA foster for more information to share with you but in the meantime can you please email info@greatpyratlanta.com or click either “Contact Us” or “Apply to Adopt” below to help me get closer to my forever home?
Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta
Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
