Jaxon
If you’ve been watching this page, waiting for a Pyrenees with a little something extra mixed in, here I am—all 4-years and 105 lbs. ready to be your soulmate. Or is it dog-mate? Pyr-mate? Let’s start with food-mate since I’m loving regular feedings now that I’m at GPRA instead of on my own. My foster family says I’m awesome with kids, cats, and other dogs but getting used to new full-size people sometimes takes a while. Scratching my ears and head really speeds things up, though! Oh, and we can exercise—meaning walk– together because I’m great on the leash. Overall, I hear I’m a pretty low-key dog and easy to love as long as you give me some time to warm up to you. Being wanted and cared for is new to me and of course I’m still learning if I prefer cheese or peanut butter or sleep better on the floor, a couch, or a person’s lap. If you agree every dog should know these and other important things about themselves, please email info@greatpyratlanta.com or click either “Contact Us” or “Apply to Adopt” below and join me on my self-discovery journey.
Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta
Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
