Astra
I’m two-years-old and as a new mom, I’m just too busy taking care of my nine puppies to get on a scale. You can tell by my pictures I’m a full-size Pyr, though. I’m also a shy Pyr until I get to know you when I’m super sweet. My puppies surprised GPRA—I was the only one who knew I was expecting—so my foster mom hasn’t had time to teach me about leash walking or actually learn a whole lot about me at all. I’m just a bit embarrassed to tell you I’ve had some overnight accidents but for all I know it because I don’t want to leave my puppies alone in the dark. We can talk more in a couple of months when I’ll be ready for my own forever home but it’s never too early to please email info@greatpyratlanta.com or click either “Contact Us” or “Apply to Adopt” below to start the conversation.
Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta
Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
