My owners gave me to a county shelter to help save my life. See, they just couldn’t stop this 6-year-old, 86 lb. boy from exploring the world at will, which isn’t really safe, right? To be fair, I can’t say how hard they tried so please don’t hold my curiosity against me. In fact, maybe we can take advantage of it as we get to know each other. We can try walking and playing with toys and visiting cats and meeting other dogs and hanging out with kids, and well, lots of things to help me find the best forever family. The GPRA person who brought me here called me “chill” and “a leaner”, and the shelter people said I get along with other dogs. Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
