Marsha
Sometimes it takes a while to discover one’s true self. And after time with a very kind GPRA family, this 1.5-year-old, 47 lb. girl knows herself so much better. Whatever happened in my pre-GPRA life left me lacking confidence and needing a very patient, dog-savvy person to guide me through my separation nervousness into the loving Pyrenees I want to be. I’ve made a lot of progress so far: no more food aggression, my breath smells much better, I’m gaining weight, and when I’m the only dog, I’m so sweet with cats! You know, maybe being an only dog is best for me? I’ve heard humans say “third time’s the charm” but if you’ll please email info@greatpyratlanta.com or click “Apply to Adopt” below, maybe my second time will be my forever time.

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
