Hi, my new family, I’m Lucy, a 1-year-old, 76 lb. female who’s trained to an electric fence, but I think I’d also enjoy being an indoor dog surrounded by a loving family who wants to be with me. Now that would be a dog’s life! Also, when I’m inside I’m not digging in the back yard and I can hang out with your other pets, too. I like some other dogs, cats, kids, people, barking now and then, treats, ear rubs, and kindness. I have had so many changes in life lately that I am really happiest when I have people at home. Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
