Sundance
Hey there! My friends call me Sonny and I’m a six-year-old, 130 lb. boy looking for a calm house with humans who know sometimes dogs need our space, too. If you’re one of those people who likes pro/con lists, here all my pros: house-trained, great with dog-smart kids over 12 and at least the older dog and puppy I live with, indifferent to cats, good with free-roam chickens, and very-low energy. There aren’t any cons to loving me, but I’ll share my quirks and when we meet, you can tell me yours! Storms scare me (a lot) and stairs baffle me, although I’m getting better going up and down. I eat fast, maybe one of those “slow down” food bowls would help? Finally, there are two important and somewhat embarrassing things to share: high-energy dogs and small spaces make me quite anxious; I sometimes react in ways I always regret later. I don’t know why but want you to know so when you please email info@greatpyratlanta.com, click “Contact Us” or choose “Apply to Adopt” below, you can talk more with the GPRA humans about tips to make our relationship last forever!
Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta
Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
