A dog named for bear who’s looking for a human? Yep, that’s me, Panda, a 4-year old, 75 lb. girl whose mom passed away and dad couldn’t take care of me the way he knows I deserve. GPRA said I should tell you I love other dogs, I’m very smart, squeaky toys are fun, and I’m super on a leash because my first family didn’t have a fenced yard. I kinda’ like exploring my foster’s backyard but I don’t like thunder, lightening, or fireworks. Good thing that stuff doesn’t happen every day, right? I was really, really bonded to my mom so while I may need a little patience getting used to a new dad, I sure want one. Maybe it will be you? Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
