Hello, I’m Bruce, a 14 month old, 100 lb boy really trying to put his best paw forward. My owner finally got the hint about how much I prefer living inside and asked GPRA to find me a new home. He wanted a livestock guardian Pyr but I’m house trained, great with kids, love strangers, have fun with other dogs, playful with cats and want to be in the middle of the human activity, not in a pasture. So, it just didn’t work out. Hopefully I’m describing myself well because I am really ready for my forever family who understand my inside nature. Want to try? Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
