Brutus
I’m 2-year-old Brutus who needs to weigh more than my current 67 lbs if I am going to be like my giant namesake from the Popeye cartoon. My first family had an emergency so they asked GPRA to please help me find a patient and dog-smart second family. Unlike my namesake, I am a lot of fun to play with because I move around a lot and prefer people and dogs to toys and chewing stuff. I am still deciding about cats, they seem a little afraid of my bark. I love treats way more than food, and I’m pretty sure I am what humans call “house trained.” I might need just a bit more practice, though. Actually, I would really appreciate a family who can teach me all my Big Boy manners because I am a really happy dog who will make you LOL. That means “laugh out loud” in people-talk. I can show you if you please email info@greatpyratlanta.com or click the “Apply to Adopt” button below.
Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta
Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
