A great big hello! Hi, my name is Jack. I am a big fella at 117 lbs and 7 years old. I am a little on the shy side when I first meet you. I found my way back to GPRA since my family had to downsize and find a smaller place to live, and well, as you can see, I am a big guy too, so now I am looking for my new home with a new family. I do not have a lot of experience with children, and I dream of a nice quiet home where I will get lots of love and tummy rubs. I know my house manners, know some commands and I LOVE food and treats. Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
