Hi, my name is Doyle, a handsome fella that was picked up by the local county Animal Shelter and waited for my people to come and get me. They never showed up and my time was limited. That is when GPRA jumped in and saved me. I am in search for my new forever home. I am around 2 years old and a bit on the smaller side than some of my cousins at 70 lbs. but I am still quite the handsome boy. I would like to have a family that will show me attention and keep me safe. I get along with other dogs and kids. I will be a great addition to any family that has time for me. Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
