My Story
Hi, I’m Liza! π
I’m a gentle mama who has been through a lot, and right now I’m hoping for something I’ve never really hadβa family to call my own.
When I first arrived at the rescue, everything felt a little scary. Boarding has been especially overwhelming for me, and I’m still trying to figure out this new world. Even though I’m frightened, everyone keeps telling me what a sweet girl I am. I just need a little time to realize that I’m finally safe.
One of my favorite volunteers gave me a spa day, and I was such a good girl! I stood patiently while she groomed me and soaked up all the gentle attention. It felt nice to be cared for, and it reminded me that people can be pretty wonderful.
Because the boarding environment is stressful for me, what I really need is a foster or forever home where I can relax, decompress, and let my true personality shine. I have a feeling there’s a happy, loving girl just waiting to blossom once she knows she’s home.
If you have a kind heart, a little patience, and a cozy place for me to land, I promise I’ll do my best to show you just how grateful I am. Sometimes the sweetest souls just need someone to believe in them.
Could you be the one to help me discover what it feels like to truly belong?
Love,
Liza πΎ
Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta
Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We donβt care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
