My Story
Hi there! My name is Larry, and my foster mom says I’m pretty awesome — and honestly, I have to agree! I’m currently hanging out in a foster home while I wait for my forever family, and I’ve been having the best time playing with my foster dog friends. I LOVE other dogs and would be thrilled to have a playful canine buddy in my future home.
I’m still a little underweight for my age, so everyone says I’m going to be a BIG handsome boy when I finish growing. More of me to love, right?
I’m already learning all kinds of good manners too! I’m potty trained, crate trained (I just like a little encouragement to head inside), and I already know how to “sit.” I’m calm and friendly when meeting new people, great with kids, and I ride really well in the car.
Inside the house, I do great when I have appropriate toys to play with… although I do have a funny habit of sneaking towels and carrying them off to my bed like little treasures. My foster family says it’s pretty adorable.
I do like my food and toys to myself around other pets, so I simply need to be fed separately and given my own space for special goodies. Easy peasy!
If you’re looking for a sweet, smart, playful boy with a big heart and an even bigger future ahead of him, I just might be your perfect match. I can’t wait to find my forever family! 🐾

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
