My Story
Hi, I’m Rose — and I’ve been told I have the sweetest smile and the most loving heart. I’m currently doing great in my foster home, learning all about the good life and soaking up every bit of love I can get. I bond quickly with my people and truly just want to be by your side, whether that’s relaxing at your feet or gently sliding my head into your lap for snuggles.
I’m a smart girl who already knows commands like sit, stay, and come, and I love working for treats (I mean, who doesn’t?). Walks are one of my favorite things ever — I get so excited when the leash comes out! I’m easy to walk and like to take in all the sights and smells… sometimes I even do a little prance because I’m so happy. I enjoy meeting new people on walks too — I think everyone might be my new best friend!
At home, I’m calm, gentle, and well-mannered. I’m housetrained, go to the door when I need to go out, and I have lovely house manners — no chewing, no counter surfing, and I’m perfectly trustworthy when left alone. I’m not much of a toy girl, but I do enjoy a nice bone now and then. Mostly, I just want to be near my people and part of whatever you’re doing.
I love being brushed, petted, and doted on — honestly, affection is my favorite thing in the world. I’m not a big barker, I’m neat and tidy, and I’m just as happy lounging indoors as I am heading out for a stroll.
If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, gentle companion who will adore you with her whole heart, I might just be your perfect match. I can’t wait to find my forever family to love. 🌹🐾

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
