Our Story

Hi, we’re Eve & Goliath — and we come as a team 💞

We’ve been together a long time, and we’re happiest when we’re side by side. We grew up as farm dogs, so we’re used to space, fresh air, and keeping an eye on things together. Now we’re looking for a forever home that will welcome both of us, because our bond is strong and our hearts are big.

I’m Eve, the social butterfly of the pair. I truly know no strangers and believe everyone exists for pats and belly rubs. I’m gentle, affectionate, and always happy. If you sit or stand near me, I’ll probably lean against your legs, roll onto my back, or politely paw you if the pets stop too soon. I love being close to my people and soaking up attention.

And I’m Goliath, the quieter one at first. I can be shy until I know I’m safe, but once I trust you, I’m all in. I’m brave, protective, and deeply loyal. I love calm affection — especially chest pats — and I’ll stand perfectly still with my eyes closed, enjoying every second. I may be reserved at first, but my bond runs deep.

Together, we’re a great balance. Eve brings the sunshine; Goliath brings the steady calm. We enjoy walks, explore our yard, and then settle in to relax for the rest of the day. We walk nicely on leash, ride well in the car, and load up on our own. We’re house-trained, use a doggy door, and don’t chew things we shouldn’t.

We’re both food lovers (treats help us follow you anywhere!) and more of grazers than fast eaters. We’re comfortable with people around our food, though we prefer to eat away from unfamiliar dogs. We do well together and share space respectfully — we’ve got our system figured out.

We’re used to farm life, so we’re clever and observant — which means we can find small fence gaps if given the chance. A secure yard or supervised outdoor time will help keep us safe. We don’t dig or jump fences; we’re just good problem-solvers.

Loud noises don’t bother us much — Goliath might even join in a howl when a fire truck goes by — and we both love gentle handling, brushing, belly rubs, and quiet time with our people.

Most of all, we’re loyal, loving, and deeply connected — to each other and to the people we trust. If you’re looking for two devoted companions who balance affection and calm, joy and steadiness, we would love to find our forever home with you.
