Hi, my name is Beatrix. I am a young comely lady around 1.5 years old. I found my way to GPRA through a shelter where no one came to claim me. I am still a little confused as to why no one wanted me as I am a very sweet and loving girl. I have meet some other dogs in my journey and I think I am making friends. I am learning what it is like to live with a roof over my head and have people telling me how wonderful I am. I am a little nervous with that leash thing but I am sure with some coaching, I will get the hang of it and we can start enjoying our daily walks. I am on the smaller side so I think with some good cooked meals and some TLC, I will be back to a healthy weight and be just about PYRfect soon. Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
