My Story

Hi there! I’m Ham — short for Thanksgiving Ham — and I promise I’m just as sweet and comforting as my name suggests.

Life started out a little rough for my family. Cranberry and I were abandoned on a property in Alabama, and our wonderful friends at a local rescue helped keep us fed until GPRA could bring us to safety. Cranberry is busy being the best mom to our seven puppies, and while she’s caring for them, I’m spending time in boarding… where everyone tells me I’m “an absolute pleasure.” (Blushing!)

I really am the definition of a gentle, loving Great Pyrenees.
I adore people, get along with everyone I meet, and I’m happiest leaning in for cuddles or soaking up kind words. They say I’m easy on the leash, sweet as can be, and pretty darn adorable — but I’ll let you be the judge of that!

I’m the perfect pyr companion: calm, affectionate, friendly, and ready to give someone my whole heart.
