My Story

Hi, I’m Hocus Pocus!

I’m currently in boarding and hoping to find a foster or forever family who can give me the love, routine, and attention I’m dreaming about.

I’m a sweet, gentle girl with a soft heart and pretty smile. I don’t mind other dogs when I pass them in the kennel or outside—I’m more of a “mind my own business” type. I’m not reactive with strangers and I’m respectful with the clinic staff who take care of me each day.

I walk nicely on a leash and stay relaxed around cars, traffic, and loud noises. One of my cutest habits (or so I’m told!) is brushing against your legs while we walk—just my way of saying, “Hi, I’m here and I like you.” I love pets and will happily lean in for more whenever I can. I seek out attention, not in a pushy way, just in a “please love me” way.

I don’t bark much at all, I eat well, and I’m not food aggressive. I also take oral medicine if needed. I’m mostly housebroken but can have an occasional accident, especially in boarding since it’s a stressful place for a dog like me.

What I want most is a calm, loving home where I can be close to my people, get regular walks, and give all the affection I’ve been saving up. If you’re looking for a gentle, easygoing companion who just wants to be near you, I might be your perfect match.
