My Story
Hi there! Iām Bear Laneāyour future best buddy, biggest cheerleader, and number one tail-wagger. Iām a friendly, outgoing guy with a lot of love to give and a voice to match (Iām a bit of a talker, but only when Iāve got something important to sayālike āYay, youāre home!ā).
Iām not the type to be in a hurry all the timeāsure, I like a quick run around the yard, but Iām just as happy to relax and hang out. Iām a grazer when it comes to food, and I especially love pizzles and cow ears. I donāt guard my food or toysāsharing is caring, right?
I absolutely adore people, and Iām known for my signature Bear Hugs. I might squint a little when you go in for head pats (hey, we all have our quirks), but I trust you and love your attention. My foster mom says Iām respectful of fences, cooperative with handling, and Iāve learned to keep my kennel clean.
I ride like a champ in the car (I can even hop in myself!) and Iām learning how to walk nicely on a leashāsometimes I get excited and pull, but Iām working on it. I do bark at noises or when Iām feeling playful, but Iām just letting you know Iām on the job.
If youāre looking for a lovable, loyal companion with a big smile and an even bigger heart, I think we should meet. Iām ready for my forever homeācould it be with you?
Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta
Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We donāt care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
