My Story

Hey there, I’m Champion—a goofy, lovable guy with energy to spare and a heart full of love! I’m currently hanging out in boarding, but what I really want is a foster or forever home where I can run, play, and snuggle to my heart’s content.

I’m still young so I’d make an awesome adventure buddy for someone who enjoys walks, runs, or just some backyard zoomies. I know basic commands like sit, come, off, and down, and I’m always up for learning more (especially if treats are involved). I’m housebroken and will politely stare at the door when I need to go out—no loud barking required!

I’m friendly with other dogs and playful with kids. Cats?—I tend to chase them. I’m also a little unsure around loud noises and strangers at first, but once I warm up, I’m all in for cuddles and attention. I’ve even been described as a family dog—active, playful, friendly, and easygoing.

I love car rides, being on the furniture, and getting lots of pets. I can be left alone for a few hours and a good routine and some toys help keep me happy and occupied.

I’m just looking for a home that understands my energy, offers me consistency, and gives me all the affection I crave. If you’re looking for a dog who’s equal parts athlete and cuddle bug, I just might be your Champion.

Let’s meet—I’m ready to win your heart. 🐾

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
