My Story
Hi there! My name is Beauty, and I’m a sweet and friendly girl, ready to find my forever home! I’m a Great Pyrenees and Saint Bernard mix—so yes, I’m big, beautiful, and full of love. I’m super loving to humans and children, and I absolutely adore meeting new people. When I see someone I like, I might bark or whine just to get their attention—I’m just so excited for some love!
I’ve spent time around a 20-month-old baby, and let me tell you, I was the best big dog ever! I never showed any aggression—actually, I was protective and concerned, making sure the baby was safe. The loud happy screams and all the noisy activity didn’t bother me at all. I was calm and patient, just doing my thing.
I’m playful and easygoing, which makes me a great companion for all sorts of adventures. I’m house trained and will let you know when I need to go outside by whining at the door. I’m also crate trained, though I can be a little stubborn about going in at first. But once I’m in, I think it’s a cozy spot to relax.
I know a couple of tricks like “Sit” and “Stay,” and I’m not food protective, so no worries about me getting possessive over my meals. However, I’m not a fan of cats—they just aren’t my thing. I’m still a puppy at heart, so I love chewing on things, but I’d really enjoy a nice Collagen Chew to keep me occupied.
I get along with other dogs just fine, but if a loose dog happens to wander onto the property, I might get a little protective and have to check things out. Oh, and parked motorcycles? Not my favorite—something about them just doesn’t sit well with me!
If you’re looking for a sweet, playful, and loving companion, I might just be the one for you. I can’t wait to meet you and start this next chapter of my life!

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
